Dinosaur Exhibit

This is a traveling exhibit that comes to our museum for a couple of months each year. The kids really look forward to it. The dinosaurs are quite lifelike and loud. Josh was freaked out this year because he is very sensitive to sounds, especially deep and rumbling. For instance: Dinosaurs Roaring. Furnace. Dryer. Planes. Sump Pump. Vacuum. Poor kid! He will put his hands over his ears and make his own noises that are so annoying they drown out the scary noise. Also I think Josh wanted to get back to the gift shop and a basket of "Squishy Lizards! Squishy Lizards!"
Ben was the fossil crew foreman. He was handing out brushes and safety glasses to the other kids and helping them find dinosaur bones in the hands-on part of the exhibit. Ben also sat in on a presentation being given to a group of 12 year olds. He raised his hand and gave appropriate dinosaur information ("They're prehistoric!"). I think the group leader was pretty impressed at his attention span and knowledge.
