Mt. Pollux

I am still working on getting out of the house in the morning. I can't seem to do better than 10 AM so far. Adding Eli's nursing, getting dressed, diapers, etc., to the regular routine simply takes more time.
So I brought plenty of hearty snacks with me today. It was SOOOO windy that I decided to take the kids to Mt. Pollux, where it would surely be even windier. We had to chase down a couple of granola bar wrappers while we were up there, but we found butterflies... Oh, excuse me. They were actually moths, according to Ben, who corrected me repeatedly on this point. We found moths, caterpillar/grub things, a japanese beetle on a purple clover, and big pieces of bark which acted as wings for some excited little pterosaurs/hawks/sparrows.
We went straight to preschool when we were done, Ben seems to do fine with a short nap in the car. He had a great day despite a case of the sniffles.
