Believe it or not, today we had our first cook out of the summer. We've been doing other stuff, what can I say? Last week I cleaned up our second garage (the junk garage) and having the grill and charcoal perched right by the door was inspiring.
Delia, Brian, Liam and Caiden came over to play and eat and hang out. The boys had a great time on the slip n slide and eating watermelon. Liam had his first slice of watermelon; it appeared to agree with him.
The weather today was about as perfect as it can get. 80 degrees, breezy, bright happy sunshine, blue sky hosting those cheery puffy white clouds. Like little beluga whales up there. What an amazing day to enjoy our yard and our kids and our family.
