Eli update: He is doing GREAT. He weighs 8 lbs, 7 oz. The pediatricians like to see the baby back up to his birthweight (8lbs, 3 oz) by two weeks old, so Eli is ahead of the curve. He is sleeping in good 4 to 6 hour chunks at night. During the day he takes a couple long naps but mostly snoozes lightly in between ravenous nursing. His quietly alert and awake times are getting a little longer, but still pretty short at this age. He gets a little fussier in the evenings, like most babies. He is developing a real talent for peeing all over me.
