We took advantage of this beautiful day by visiting the Eric Carle Museum and stopping at the playground on the way home.
Eli spends a good deal of time in his high chair lately. Now that he's been introduced to table foods he can't get enough. If you stop feeding him during dinner he will lean forward and bang his hands on the high chair tray. He has been eating all kinds of fruit and vegetables, pasta and breads, cheerios, and plenty of prunes. He also really likes to get his hands on a cup or bowl which he will mouth though he can't get anything from it. He watches his brothers all day long and can't wait to be just like them. (Oh, Lord!)
Eli is still nursing and getting most of his nutrition that way, but I have begun limiting how often he can nurse so that I don't turn into a pacifier! He's been waking at night lately due to a cold, but as he gets well, we will go back to letting him cry at night. Right now he goes to sleep around 6:30 but wakes to nurse at 2 or 3. I would like him to sleep until at least 5. Come to think of it, I would like ALL my children to sleep until at least 5.
Today was Matt's day to get up with the kids, so his day started at 3:30 AM. That is NOT a typo.
