Friday was "dress up day" at Ben's preschool. They were just finishing up a unit on castles/knights/princesses/dragons. Right up Ben's alley. They built a large cardboard castle in the classroom, complete with a drawbridge, flags and turrets. We made this costume out of an old T shirt of Matt's. He transferred the crest onto the front and back. We found some ribbon for $1/roll at Michaels, as well as some "jewels" that were on clearance for $1. (Thanks, Mom!) A little hot glue, and wa la! a prince is born. (Ben was both a prince AND a knight, thank you very much.)
The picture of Eli is just cute. No costume for him this time. He is getting two more teeth on the top. One broke through yesterday and from the sound of him the other one is coming through right at this moment.
