Today Eli met his cousin Liam for the first time. As we all expected, Liam looks so big next to Eli. Liam can sit up and crawl now, and watching him play around with toys made him seem like such a big boy. Brian and Delia both got a chance to hold Eli, and feel his smallness.
Brian, Delia, Matt, and the boys are off on a hike. Elijah and I stayed behind, sleeping, nursing, me smiling a lot at his closed eyes.
Last night Matt and I let Ben watch the first part of "The Wizard of Oz." It was so fun to watch his reactions. Of course we know the movie like the back of our hands, we take it for granted, like so much in the world- the sky, the earth, thunder, God. When something interesting happened in the movie, Matt and I would both look over at Ben to see his face, and then have to smile at each other in our eagerness.
We are so blessed.
