Swift River Playground

This is one of our favorite playgrounds - it was upgraded last August so it has the latest and greatest equipment. However, we tend to spend most of our time at the sandbox or gathering rocks. The building in the background is the elementary school which the kids will be attending in a couple of years. When we got to the playground today at about 8:15 am we were the only ones there. Around 9:30 some other families started showing up. Ben made friends with two sweet little girls. They picked flowers together for quite some time. Upon leaving, Ben had to go back because he said he had forgotten to ask them their names. He was so polite, saying, "I hope we see you again here sometime. It would be great to meet you again. It was fun picking flowers with you." He already has a way with the ladies! We headed home around 11 am, already very hot and sticky. I am very grateful to be in my cool air conditioned home, gearing up for a quiet, nappy afternoon.
